First ebirded in the Chappaqua yard on Mar 22, 2012. I'm sure I had seen and was aware of cardinals before this.
We've also seen them in Connecticut, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, and Illinois. They are so common, that we hardly ever bother photographing them.
