We saw these birds in Florida when went to see the final launch of Space Shuttle Discovery in February, 2011.
We've also seen them in Yellowstone, along the Salmon River in Idaho, in New Orleans, Texas, Cuba, Nebraska and much closer to home where they frequent the new Croton Reservoir in the winter.
