Dark-eyed Junco (Junco hyemalis)

First seen in the Chappaqua yard on Mar 20, 2012.

These are regular Westchester winter visitors pecking around on the ground below the yard feeders. We also saw a few in Yellowstone NP during our 2013 SMRA birding trip. The western ones were "Pink-sided" while our eastern birds are "slate-colored".

Also spotted a couple in Canada Around Newfoundland, but no Labrador Ducks. And more seen during March Magic Crane migration in Nebraska
